Her children rise up and bless her; Her husband also, and he praises her saying: “Many daughters have done nobly, but you excel them all.” Proverbs 31:28-29

For some of you the school year is fast approaching, and for some it has already begun. Today I’m sharing a recipe for what is easily one of my kids favorite snacks, and is also perfect for an afterschool treat! Nothing is better than walking into a house where there is fresh banana bread. I can’t wait to make this next week, and thought you might like to make some too:)
1 Cup Brown Sugar
1 Cup Butter
3 Medium Bananas (preferably ripe)-mashed
2 eggs
2 Cups Flour
1 tsp baking soda
pinch of salt
Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees. Cream together butter and sugar, add eggs. In a separate bowl mix flour, baking soda salt. Mix dry ingredients into wet. Add bananas and mix until just blended. Bake for 60-65 minutes.
I like to add chocolate chips to mine sometimes. I also sometimes sprinkle a little brown sugar on top before I put it in the oven. YUM!
Happy Baking!
